THE NATURE OF AN UNIQUE HAM Our iberian pigs are grown in oak forest located inside Seville’s Sierra Norte Natural Park, declared by UNESCO a Worldwide Biosphere Reserve. This unique place ensures a 100% natural feed, based on acorn and aromatic plants from October until February (montanera) of each year. The Sanlucar de Barrameda’s sea salt and Sierra Morena’s air are the only elements involved in the healing process done in our cellars in El Pedroso. Only the time and the silence allow the achievement of the ideal maturation for the acquisition of its characteristic taste.
